I only put this on here so that everyone knows what you're both talking about. Maybe now you can both shut the **** up.

  4. Bodmin Jail (alternatively Bodmin Gaol) is an historic former prison situated in Bodmin, on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. Built in 1779 and closed in 1927, the large range of buildings is now largely in ruins, although parts of the prison have been turned into a tourist attraction.

Bodmin Gaol was designed by Sir John Call and built in 1779 by prisoners of war, and was operational for 150 years, in which it saw over 50 public hangings. It was the first British prison to hold prisoners in individual cells. Etc

    (Extract from Wikipedia)

I already knew this, of course.

I didn't want to have to do it, but it appears to be the only language that Pixie understands.

I don't see why Hiag has to prove anything to anyone. He obviously gets under a lot of peoples skin here...and many are desperate to have a bite, put him in his place etc etc.

Hiag you carry on telling them to **** off until they prove who they are with concrete evidence first.

Even wiki (along with everybody bar you) calls it Bodmin jail and you're trying to use it as evidence that it's known as Bodmin gaol <laugh> You just cannot make this **** up

Tell us again how it's only called Bodmin jail because Google has 'americanised' the name because they are a US company <laugh>

So you nearly bought Bodmin Jail a few years back, but admitted on Weds that your builder mate offered you an opportunity to 'wet your feet' in property development with the current pub development?

    Sounds legit.

So your Cornish builder mixes with cash rich Russian investors?

By day a brickie, by night he's rubbing shoulders with Oligarchs <laugh>

Indeed, he was going to buy the "gaol" a few years back with the Cornishman who only recently invited HAIG to wet his feet in HIAG's own deal.

I think we're going to have to get a sub editor in.

He's trawling through his conveyancing history and adding himself to the narrative is my guess.

He's as much a property tycoon as I am a brain surgeon.

    Cheers, mate.

I've been having a right laugh at their expense. I've exposed Stan as an estate agent, which has really blown his credibility to tatters, and I've had Tobes go into proper meltdown on me! Pixie's well out of his depth, though. He's seen an opportunity to wum, but he doesn't have enough knowledge about estate agency to back Stan up on anything, so he's resorted to testing me on my knowledge of Cornwall, even though he's never been there. It's hilarious!

Meanwhile, in between all the banter, I've been tying the ends up on a nice little property development deal, having secure terms (in principle), yesterday, from a respectable funder. Even my builder partner has joined in the fun with a couple of fantastic cracks at Stan's expense!
