So should Rafael for going through Lucas. So whats your point. However Lucas didn't fall down, and having seen that Rafael only got a yellow, jump back up and chase the ref around the pitch and then fall down again and cry.
What happened to the banter? This is just tit for tat squabbling now. Gerrard and Rooney have both been involved in several unsavoury incidents on (and off) the pitch. Suarez has looked like a terrific signing for Liverpool thus far and I see no reason for that to change. Rooney has been United's key player for a number of years now in an attacking sense and is also likely to continue to be.
Sorry I don't think allegedly whacking an abusive manc is the same as screwing whores. So Rooneys off the field discretions are not in any way the same as Gerrards.
I'm sorry, I thought carras challenge was a red, but then with rafaels challenge, I knew it was just as bad. The only reason Rafael didn't get a red card was because the ref was showing consistency. Both players should have been thrown out, but the ref didn't show any injustice to either team. He was consistent. And still man u fans and their manager whine about the ref, injustice! Unfair! You lost, it's over, next. If any mid-tier coach complained like ferguson did after that game, they would have been banned from touchline and fined.
Gerrard didn't sell his autobiography to a newspaper his home city hates...and yes..Rooney has been abused by his fellow Evertonians for doing so.The majority of Evertonians have united with their red counterparts over that particular issue.Only a vile scumbag would gain financially from that newspaper. I'm not disputing that Carra didn't deserve to be put off..he should have...but Rafael went in two footed on Lucas and the only reason he didn't do damage is because Lucas jumped out the way.But according to the letter of the law and this is the reason why Gerrard was put off in January in the cup...two footed is two footed and a straight red...minimal or any sort of contact.Rafael was not sent off because Carragher wasn't.The ref showed consistency.
Firstly whats that got to do with selling it to a newspaper that is despised by your home city? Secondly Didn't Rooney say and I quote ''I'm an honest player..I don't intentionally go down'' only to go down in an international as if he was shot by a sniper 3 days later. Now who's a hypocrite?
He also chose to ignore the fact Maxi stuck his studs into Rafaels thigh just before that tackle, don't get me wrong, both of those challenges deserved a red, but the ref missed a blatant high challenge only seconds before Rafaels.
So you think needless acts of violence are not as bad as paying for hookers. I think both are pretty bad tbh.
So you don't think that if a Liverpool fan went up to Shrek and questioned the paternity of his son,(There isn't smoke without fire as there is odds of 11/8 that John Terry is Kai's biological father) would whack them.
Oh sorry. I thought you were talking about the DJ. I tend to lose track of Gerrard's happy fists. My mistake.
Rooney wasn't found guilty of his elbow last season. Doesn't mean he didn't do it though. There was ample evidence for both Rooney's elbow and Gerrard's "altercation" with the DJ, whether the Scouse jury agreed or not.
