He hasn't lived there for 25 years, Pixie, although he still has strong roots there. Where did you live and who did you know? He might have known you (although I seriously doubt that, as he abhors muppets, and gives them very short shrift).

It doesn't matter that he hasn't lived there for 25 years. If he's a Cornishman, he will know the place like the back of his hand. Also if he abhors muppets, then there's no way he would be in buisness with somebody who can't even get their basic finances right.

Why do you think I wanted to buy Bodmin Gaol, Pixie? I never thought it was going to succeed as a nightclub.

You obviously don't know much about Bodmin Jail, because (1) Nobody refers to it as Bodmin Gaol (2) There's still a nightclub there today.

 

Ouch.

HIAG probably had the name changed from jail to gaol and he actually owns the nightclub (and is doing remarkably well from it).
