Couldn't last with those results. Good experience for him though. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...e-sacked-Valencia-disastrous-four-months.html
He was daft to take the job in the first place. To his credit it shows how confident and ambitious he is which was reflected in his hugely successful playing career. I'd love to see him back at United as part of the coaching set up with Giggsy and Nicky Butt. The current United has many faults but at least it still embraces its legends.
What's the problem....surely any experience of something different in life is good for you - both good and bad, it's what you take from it that matters and whether you learn from it and can apply that lesson later in life. Personally, I always thought it would end badly, but credit to the guy for giving it a go. He could have stayed put with his steady Sky salary but he gave it a go and to my mind deserves a lot of credit.
Very low but that doesn't mean he won't have taken a lot from the experience. He had the balls to take the job in the first place, despite the fact it was madness. He could have spent the next 20 years being another Alan Hansen ie a coward.
