Its a no brainer for me, Shane must start on present form? Wonder if Charlie and Jay will figure on the bench?
Really looking forward to this game, 2 attacking sides who both like to play attractive footer.

 

I'd be starting Mane with a word in his ear that you want to see continued progression from him.

 

I was thinking of maybe Mane instead of Davis, but think we would be overrun in midfield. Has Mane played internationally this week as he's normally back later than rest?

Mane played away yesterday against Niger.

Apparently Long was subbed for a couple of niggles, so it was decided not to risk him. Doesn't sound serious, but I don't want him hurt at all

Its true what you are saying. About 3/4 through a game he always comes across as dead on his feet, usually limping and looking hard-done-by, and thats when he pounces! I don't know if its something he does consciously or not but it must lull the opposition into a false sense of security.

 

Obviously not true in Miami, but the same with Andy Murray. The sicker he looks and the more he moans...the more dangerous he is.

 

Was it the West Ham game where he was clattered towards the end but refused to go off?

 

With JRod and Charlie coming back to fitness, and Mane travelling, I don't expect to see him in Sunday's squad at all.

 

In theory you just jump on a plane...not always that easy when flying from Africa. Good that it's a Sunday game, but the bench is the best Mane can hope for.

 

Well you'll be happy to hear that the croatian manager has said that Lovren is no longer a part of croatian national team, because he, after warming up for a while, returned back to the bench without the manager allowing it.

A bit, yes. Well our manager is a no name coach who's meant to lead a team consisting of players who play in some of the biggest clubs in the world, I guess in this way he's trying to create some authority and Lovern was the scapegoat. Still, couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
