you could dispute it, but i would point to the issue of you finishing above us for however many years without actually picking up anything and say probably not.

Next year is our year. you have my word Nsis <laugh>

That's what butthurts you so much. All that trophy grabbing back in the day when record shops existed in abundance and cassette players were the thing...yet here we are today...enjoying watching Spurs season upon season finishing above Pool....and our success, no matter how small, is still enough to make Pool look insignificant.

That hurts you deep inside. We are progressing like you think you should be...the only way you can go toe to toe is to pull up your whole history....

The fact is that Spurs don't need trophies to overtake Pool. That must hurt. It would me.

All that hurt hidden behind a smilie. It washed for a bit but now we know its tragic butthurt pain and Sucky is not man enough to overcome it.

  7. I love the fact that Mousers do not accept that 'Pool is a mid-table side, that is gradually falling further and further behind the likes of Stoke, West Ham and Leicester, let alone us. The comedy to be had in their continual disappointment, as each new season progresses, is pure gold! Every year, Lawro predicts the Mousers to romp the league, and by the time we reach the final third he's forced to predict 'Pool losses in order to correct his premature optimism. It's superb!

yet despite all your claims of progress and over taking the pool, and becoming one of the big boys and days of trophy grabbing gone by, it still reads like this....

Liverpool last time winners vs Spurs last time winners

    League Title: 89/90 - Spurs 60/61
    FA Cup: 05/06 - spurs 90/91
    Lge Cup: 11/12 - spurs 07/08
    European Cup: 04/05 spurs N/A
    Uefa Cup: 00/01 - spurs 83/84

    "Taken over the pool" <laugh>

Sucky still doesn't get it......We all watch the Premier league and enjoy our team improving season upon season and Sucky is sat at home waiting for his VHS to stop rewinding so he can watch one of his TDK video cassette recordings of the ITV's 'The Match' and enjoy the glory days.

Its not even his, his dad passed it on.

Your pain can't be hidden by the smilies Sucky.

yes, so im finding this "season upon season progress" that butthurtlock is dribbling on about difficult to grasp

I think he means no trophies and better lge positions in the last 10 yrs with nothing to show for it is progress for spurs fans?

    LOL

Better league positions isn't progress? What?
Leicester aren't doing any better than last season because they haven't won anything, apparently. <doh>

As someone once (might have) said :

When you spend like you're a big club, you expect to be finishing in the PL
above Spurs more than once in the past 7 seasons.

Nice try...but you know what I mean....slowly you will come round to admitting that I am right.

You seriously as a supposed football fan cannot grasp that football teams and their progress are not only measured by trophies especially those they won when Michael Jackson was black and Brookside was on Channel 4?

No wonder Pep Guardiola can't wait to manage you next season. I thought he would go to City or a team like that. Not much history but going in the right direction....and now I understand why Jose managed Liverpool in 2004. I thought he would go to a club like Chelsea, not many trophies but plenty potential.

I'm with you now progress is nothing to do with where you stand as a club currently, compared to where you was in recent times. Its all about what you won 30 years ago.

The rest of us can smell the fear Sucky...you carry on trying.

  17. The core of England for the next two or three tournaments, will be Spurs. That, my friend, is progress. The cups, the trophies, and the Glory, they all will come, in time. Your time, however, is over.

Enjoy those old video tapes, my friend.

  18. Manchester City and England forward Raheem Sterling has lowered the asking price on his Merseyside mansion to £1.2m. The property includes a Michael Jackson-themed bar. (Evening Standard)

Unfortunately, however, the lead-roof no longer exists, hence the reduced asking price.
