A very good pod cast which discusses the Saints from 15.17 to 24.09 and it is well worth a listen. http://mlsgb.com/2016/03/24/podcast-portland-columbus-southampton-discussed/
Clasie has gone far down in my estimation after that. I understand the frustration, but he made zero effort to track back. Fortunately Sturridge missed and the rest is history. Agree with the credit on JWP, he bought tremendous energy to the team and it may have been an instruction from Koeman, but he really went after Emre Can(who was very impressive). For the third goal he sprinted across the pitch to put pressure on him, which forced the play back to Mignolet and his ballooned clearance. He made a real difference stopping Can from dictating play.
Dejan has deleted his Instagram and Twitter accounts after being spammed with messages from Saints fans.
Probably about time that some moved on. I have...no longer nauseous at the sight of Lallana and Dejan because I am happy where we are.
My personal resentment towards Lallana has run it's course. Never gave much of a toss about Lovren in any case. But I still; wanna knowowowowow why he's such a....
I always said it'd be done once we beat them, n to come from 2-0 down made it pretty sweet too Hope Adam comes to Kelvs testimonial n we can finally thank him for the years of good work he DID give us.
Everybody has their own time-line for when they decide enough is enough. Most people's resentment isn't genuine [at least I hope so because otherwise they need to prioritise what's important in life] but more of an amusement. Whether Lovren deserves his taunts from Saints fans is neither here nor there. Twice a season he has to suffer it. I think that's no big deal considering the money he gets paid. I'm sure he doesn't really give a toss. If Saints fans are getting properly nasty then that's a different matter. I refer to my priority comments above.
The trouble is he's reacting to it, so people will perpetuate things. If he just ignored it (that age-old advice we give our children!) it would soon die down. I very much doubt any more than 1% of it is genuine, and as you rightly say, that 1% need to get their priorities in line!
Indeed. That will just feed them some more. We're all** guilty of perpetuating the situation, but for the vast majority it's just light-hearted giggles. I didn't frown when I heard Saints fans singing to Lovren the other week. I thought it had genuine comedic value. The sort of thing Stewart lee might dissect, expose, and then turn on its head for yet more laughs. **all. A general term not intended to offend. If anyone reading this hasn't smiled from day one of Lovren's departure then please exclude yourself with my apologies for tarring you with the same brush as the rest of us.
