Tbf Lallana had a decent shout for it, I think Drinkwater was slightly more consistent over the game though.

 

I find it hilarious that England fans recycle and repeat the same gung ho bollox after every win against a half decent side only to be found out against the next. It really is delusional. All this talk about this young English team being ready to rip it up after the Germany game. I guarantee the media and fans will build these poor sods up only to tear them down again 4 months from now.

No they will work on systems of play, just ticking fitness over while hodgson runs them round the pitch doing laps without any ball work so we are super fit, every player will look flat and jaded and none of our players will have a clue how to play together Barbon course. ... the spuds

Correct, that is exactly what Hodgson will do too. He has been a top manager for quite a few years and knows what he is doing with players.
You have a ****ty on with him because Sturridge is made of jelly and got injured once on England duty, you seem to forget that Liverpool broke him a further 3 times in training after that (he has been hurt in training a few times this season too)
All other players seem to come back ok as long as they don't get injured in a game which can happen any time.

I'd care less for sturridge but the fact is hodgson has done this already twice.

International managers should not worry about fitness, it's about systems and player interactions.

 

I have a feeling England have fitness coaches and medics to handle that side if needed, as you say Hodgson will handle the training and tactics

 

Indeed, the mess at Villa is a result of poor decisions over the course of a few years. I just feel for the Villa fans really, they were one of the longest
surviving clubs in the top division (if memory serves)
