Nothing was going to top that performance v Germany. Leave it to the younger players and let them play without fear.
**** socks are appropriate, they go well with the **** shirts and the **** shorts. I reckon the kits on Saturday and today are probably the worst that I can recall.
Friend of mine gone to Wembley tonight with his son. No tickets on sale on the day of the game and the pubs around Wembley are not allowed to show the game live on the telly.
No need to be sorry, he isn't awful. Speaking of your knowledge on defenders, how's future England international Moore doing?
Do you just not watch him or something? He can pass it 50 yards just wonderfully, no doubt. But he gets bullied by a striker with the slightest bit of physicality and can't make a tackle to save his life. No, he really is awful at defending.
I think we had this conversation on Saturday, in which I told you how much I had seen of him. Funny how other Leicester fans came on that thread and also praised Stones, eh? Bored arguing and disrupting thread. You can have the last word, it's what you want. (Funny that you ignored my Moore question, isn't it?)
The Dutch were unlucky not to get a penalty but England's goal was nicely created and well taken. A bit ironic that a Cruyff turn created the opening for Lallana's pass to Walker.
It's an England thread, it's hardly disruptive to talk about a player in this game. He's not a good defender. Super passer and a competent dribbler. But look at the likes of Martinez (probably the closest I can think to Stones) at his age and it's chalk and cheese. He'll probably grow up to be a decent player, but right now he is not good enough.
As for Liam Moore. He couldn't handle the step up to the Premier League. Not really out of the question to say he'd go on to have a good career when he was dominating the Championship at 20 years old. Shame for the lad.
It sold out a while back, that's why you can't buy a ticket and no pub can be stopped from showing ITV 1.
