Well I didn't make the observation., but I can understand the sentiment. It's not going to fit everybody's lifetime.
Went to Glastonbury last year. This year I've only got tickets for Rock Werchter in Belgium at the moment.
As you know I'm no music maestro, but that is stunning. I really hope you/she starts getting the coverage that deserves. Chillingly beautiful. Mesmerising.
Proper job* *currently the guest ale in my local - never heard of it until this week. It's lovely. Very hoppy
Yes, St Austell. First time I've seen it. Went in there last night as my Dad was up for dinner and they give you a card to collect 8 stamps (1 every pint of Proper Job you buy). I had three last night and I am off this week decorating and so took my son to the pub for lunch while the wife went to the hairdressers... 4 more to go and I get a free Prooer Job Tankard I don't frequent the pub much, but I think I'll buy the wife lunch tomorrow ...
ITV's report tonight on the plane hijacking earlier today: - the man's 'suicide belt' was made of iPhone cases strapped to him - he demanded the plane to divert to Larnaca in Cyprus, when it was meant to be going from Cairo to Alexandria - the man has serious mental health issues - he was trying to win back his relationship with his estranged wife - he never threatened to kill the passengers, hence why they were so calm when disembarking Awful timing and it was scary for a lot of people. It's just a very sad story all round, I think. Daft, but sad. Some strange thought processes going on from the man in question for him to think that was a possible solution.
I find this unlikely, yet amusing. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodandd...n-finds-whole-potato-in-packet-of-crisps.html
I particularly like the fact that the Telegraph had to include a generic potato photo in case we had forgotten what one was!
Also, after my own experiments in making crisps, I can state with some authority that having one whole potato in a standard crisp bag is the most that has ever been in one. I would estimate that a normal bag of crisps contains about 2/3rds of one generic potato.
