Liverpool fans seem to use goals/assists/stats to suit only their players. Rooney is better than everyone on their team, its not a stat, its not an opinion. Its just the way it is. Firstly that was over the line,and secondly the referee allowed it because if he disallowed it he would have had to send Petr Cech off,and award Liverpool a penalty as Cech took down Milan Baros.So instead of being 1-0 with 11 men...Chelsea could've easily have been facing a penalty with no keeper as Maureen had no keeper on the bench that night.
