    Unproven though.

Just like Gray, Austin, Rhodes and Vardy were.

He'd have been a really decent gamble. Though some of the know nowts or know **** all on here would disagree!!

It would have been a far better option than what we have done as a club to date this season on strikers, which is **** all.

We have spent money on a centre forward from Norway who to me doesn't even look like a centre forward. Or sign another midfielder to play up front.

Bruce continues to say goals win games, yet he has failed to properly address the issue for a number of Windows. Missing out on Gray whilst the club were penny pinching continues to be a ****ing irritation. Yet we've spent the equivalent of the Gray budget on players that don't even play.

And just look what they've gone on to do. I like the sound of Madden - Quick, skilful, direct and he has a good conversion rate. Plus he's Irish, so he plays with a bit of fire in him. Our previous Irish players have all turned out to be pretty decent signings.

    Scunny fans rate him highly.

We ended for the last International break with a 3-0 win over Boro, then went on to a 1-1 draw against Brittle and a 0-3 loss against Derby - the break didn't seem to do us any favours. Fate is sometimes strange and the next time around we have ended with a 0-1 loss against Boro and will recommence with a game against Brittle and then at Derby, so how will our fortune hold out? I would say they are very important games, but I'm sure others will say they are not.

I'd take Madden, he scores goals wherever he plays. His last spell in the Championship was a disaster and he was transfer listed after something like 9 games, but he was playing for Yeovil.

I've mentioned him before but that Tom Bradshaw looks a decent larker, reminds me a lot of Fryatt.

Nikola Zigic is available on a free, he's 35 but as a target man he'd be a decent foil for Hernandez.

I thought we'd signed Nick Powell?
Need Maloney, Powell and Snodgrass to conjure up some goals/chances.

That and the lazy sulking **** Elmohamedy to get his finger out and finally decide to put in a shift for us.
His absence has severely limited the crosses from the right.

You wont need any guarantees for a play off ticket.

Nick Powell - He's about as much of a striker as Jakupovic.
Midfielder if ever there was one - He's a good footballer, but he's not a striker.

Sadly, he's probably our second best striker.

I'd rather have Snodgrass on the right any day.

Beat Bristol and, regardless of others results, it is back on.

However, I genuinely fear the arse has fallen out and we’ll draw against Bristol.

Naturally, we have to aim for the automatic spots, but in doing so, it is crucial that we revive that esprit de corps for the likely play offs.
