Here you go chaps (and especially for Chilcs) - Fable live at the BBC performing Silence Myself. It's heart-stoppingly beautiful (and that's speaking without any manager bias going on, it just is).

This better be good as I've just interrupted Surf's Up to listen. ;)

You're right to feel that way. She's got quite an instrument in that voice. A very nice song and production for her talent, with a bit of time-honoured CBS space around her voice. If everything's fair in the world she'll go far.

She's got a great voice. I hope she goes far as a lot of the music at the moment seems so dull. The keyboards always bug me on this somehow but it's still good. You got me searching on YouTube for her and I've just listened to the live version of Fragile which is more my sort of thing. Loved that. Good luck to you both. :)

It's possibly because the timings on the keys are mental in this song! Interesting you like Fragile - that was recorded at her second ever gig! It's a more tricky song to get your head round, but we all love it (especially live). Thank you!

Just got back from my uncles funeral. Hopefully won't have to do that again for a while.

Someone once observed that you get to the age where the weddings you go to start to be outnumbered by the funerals. You're nowhere near those years, Beef, I'm sure.

Of the smartphone repairs I've done so far I've not needed to go anywhere near a soldering iron. Well that time has come, I've just discovered. I've got two and although I've looked everywhere I've well and truly mislaid them. Meanwhile a phone sits on my table with its guts open. Feel like putting a kitchen towel over it. The poor thing.

Wow. Not often an artist lives up to the hype. But she's just as good as you keep on saying she is - better, even.

Thanks! Scary she's so young. She has the capacity to be one of the greats if the industry lets her.

Ah, the industry. Guess that's where you come in. Help her remain true to herself, steer her away from some of the pitfalls, and with talent like that I'm sure she'll fly. Good luck.

    I'm not even 25 and I've gone to 3 weddings and 6 funerals. :(
