Yep after showing us how badly he wanted it,we have backed him to the hilt. Going into his second year now, doing really well,i just bought a house up there, bloody cheaper than paying £7000 to rent per a year. At least we can see a return on our money at some point.Better than giving it to some large operation cashing in on students.
You have just bought your son a house to live in and yet he's so hard done by compared to Kodjia??.. there are plenty of 18 year olds who don't have that benefit, no matter how much 'they badly want it'..
Davros...?? I think that the correct response to that one is "EX-TER-MIN-ATE baby" but luckily, I never saw a single Dalek in any episodes of Kojak...!!!! I think you might have meant Stavros even....
That sounds a weird cross-over episode! Next - Shaft on Star Trek, followed by Starsky and Hutch on Babylon 5.
Cardiff is considered one of the if not the best uni for medicine, and he could of lived at home. Just saying mind

Just saying mind [/QUOTE] Two years ago Oxford,Leeds,Sheffield,Nottingham were the places with some excellent results and stats. Cardiff must have come up through the ranks, just checked they shot up from 16 in 2015 to 3rd in 2016
Pays to have a professor for a mum so she can tell me what ones are scoring high. Or ones that are going to be scoring high. Cardiff is good for medicine and certain things, but they all excell at something, depends on what you want to learn.
My son felt the same way,but it was two years ago. The stats say they are doing well now, something has improved over there, having said that Cardiff has improved all over in the last ten years.
Cardiff is a nice city, I generally found that the nice uni's were in not so good cities and the nicer cities had Bland uni's. Southampton and Bristol were 2 exceptions to the trend from where I looked, didn't look at Leeds though.
Try Buckingham, new uni with excellent reports. Just don't argue with the professor she can give you a wicked slap when she's in a mood
A mate of mine went to Cardiff Uni to study english lit. He arrived on his first day and was shown digs in the halls of residence. He was told to put all his stuff in his locker so it didnt walk. That night he locked up all his gear and went to bed. The following morning he couldnt find the key to the locker and had lectures later that day. Being the genius he was he borrowed some money from a fellow student and went to B&Q to buy a hacksaw, in his pyjamas. He may have got degree but what a knob head he was.
