Day 87, film 87, "the captive", Ryan Reynolds, About a man who's daughter goes missing on the Way back from her skating practice, he stops to Pick up pie leaving his daughter in the car...
Just finished watching it and happy...yes, I found it Too broken up, flitting from past to present. I thought it would of been much better, the story Sounded a good one, but it failed.... For me. Definitely left me disappointed.....
The captive 2014, but watch it for yourself, I'd be Interested in what you thought of it.... Just seen the trailer for "captive 2015" Looks very good, a bit bible bashers But good....
Watched The Selfish Giant last night, it was ok but nothing startling for me, each to their own I guess. Tonight I'm hoping to watch Bone Tomahawk.
Just watched the original Star Wars trilogy for the first time, very enjoyable. My favourite was the first one ' New Hope'. Was alarming how much Skywalker aged in a short time but I suppose they didn't have the means to hide that kind of thing back in the day, by Return of the Jedi he looks pretty haggard and in the first one he is a fresh -faced youth. Onto the second batch this week, I've seen the Phantom Menace at the cinema (if that was the first one that came out) and I hated it, it put me off watching the other films until now. Am hoping I was just in a bad mood that day which might have influenced my judgement of it.
First time? How the Hell has that happened?! I just watched Luv. Bloke, played by some rapper I'd never heard of (Common ...whoever he is) gets out of prison, takes nephew out for day...it all goes tits up as he fails to leave drug dealing etc life behind. Danny Glover is in it, but only a small part. I actually really enjoyed it. Low key, but some nice moments
I watched Attack on Titan Part 1 last night. Pretty impressive live action conversion of the Anime. Still a bit odd though. Made me want to persevere with the series though which I sacced off quite early.
I've only seen the first one, and that only because it happened to be on, didn't really appeal to be honest. But Star Wars?! (Maybe I'm older though so it might be an era thing)
I knew something was up with his face! It must have been pretty serious as they would have been able to camouflage it to a certain extent but by the Jedi film he looks in his thirties, the first one in his teens, not sure about the timescale of the films but I think the events are meant to happen quite close to each other.
