you'd think it was too common a name.. http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/35900042 an unofficial re-brand as Siamese Foxes has already taken afoot in Thailand..
Some of the folk on there supported Liverpool or Manchester last year. Out there, they change clubs like people here change utility companies. They don't see supporting a club like we do (criticising tactics, formations and demanding pet players play in certain positions etc) Rather than change our name to Hull Tigers, maybe the key is a change of name every year or too, like when the kit changes. Longevity and constancy not valued in the Asian football world.
Was watching New York City play Orlando City. Obviously Americans have no idea on marketing compared to our chairman and should asking him for advice. As for Sporting Kansas City the place is called Kansas City so to stop being common and irrelevant the good citizens of there should change the name to something more dynamic like Kansas Thunder. "I'm going to Kansas Thunder Kansas Thunder here I come..."
Jesus H. Some of you really can't let it go and move on can you? No wonder you like CI. I genuinely feel pity for you.
While our dopey owners insist on deliberately pissing off the fans by continuing to use a name they were refused permission to use, they deserve everything they get.
You nailed your colours to the mast and unfortunately for you that ship sunk. Maybe its time for you to let it go and stop commenting on threads like this which you claim to have no interest in. Have some dignity in defeat and let those on the winning side bask in the glory of victory.
Luckily the "ship" I support still exists, things coulda been so different I agree. Hardly basking in the glory of anything by the looks are the "victors"? Winners? If only they saw it like that eh? They might actually get behind the team if they did. It's almost like they're stuck in the 1970s, and will just always find something new to rail against. Oh and I'll post where I want, I certainly do not need your permission to do that. Ta.
Post where you want, just don't be hypocrite and criticise people for something you're quite clearly guilty of yourself.
I was listening to 5 live this morning and it was said that since King Richard was laid to rest there, this was the start of Leicester's great run. Pity he didn't get buried in York as they need all the help they can get just now.
If anything isnt it since we missed a hatful of piss easy chances when drawing there 0-0? If Jelly or Abel had taken their chances that day they almost certainly would've been relegated and the face of the Premier League would've changed forever.
But Jelly and Abel did miss those chances, so changing the face of the Premier League forever. Oh wait...we could end having one of those 'Back to the future' type debates...
It really is amazing their achievements when you put them into this context. If via time travel Jelly was given new studs to help stay on his feet in front of an open goal and Marty McFly then said to Doc at the hotdog stand "we just stopped Lester winning the league next season" it'd be too far fetched even for Hollywood.
