Is it Tony Blair? Lambo: if it's Blair, chin him. (This doesn't count as politics, since both sides hate Blair.)
Milner is captain tomorrow then according to my Sky Sports News and has played 'in a lot of positions' according to Hodgson, inspirational stuff. I reckon most of the squad have played in a lot of positions given that they are international footballers, apart from Forster and Hart maybe
You have hit the nail on the head. Some people think he's good because he can pass the ball out of defence. But when it comes to defending, he's absolutely dire. There is a reason why Everton have conceded the most goals in the league at home. He's not up to it. Yet.
What about Scott Dann, Steve Cook, Simon Francis, Wes Morgan and Shawcross has compared to Stones? Would you have any of them ahead of him?
So, to summarise, Stones isn't playing much for Everton and yet is the reason they've conceded lots of goals.
In what sense? At club level, i'd definitely have him. He's clearly got immense potential. He just needs someone who isn't as **** as Funes Mori next to him to guide him. He definitely needs to move to a big club. Would I have any of those ahead of him in the Euros for England (pretending that Wes Morgan is English)? Absolutely. Players like Morgan, Francis and Shawcross used to be celebrated in this country, but now they're ridiculed for a lack of pace and not having the ability to pass it five yards. But, however you spin it, they all know how to defend.
The trouble is he's been hyped up. When ive seen him he seems a little bit of a liability and needs to improve. Hopefully he will get there but the defense at international level has been lacking for a few years now which is a shame coz theres promising players in midfield and up front.
