Ban any religion and it makes us scum of the earth. Bringing ourselves down to the level of those who follow a more 'extremist' form of Islam is a strange concept to me. The notion is beyond me, don't see any benefits. We'd go down in history as monsters.

I think any organised religion is a form of delusion, but to try take away their right to believe would be a monstrous act and would certainly strengthen their faith.

How do you believe the universe began? By dismissing the idea of a God, you are asserting that something else DID occur. SO it's the exact same situation, and the burden of proof is put back on to you. That's why everyone should be entitled to believe what they want to believe and not questioned or looked down on for it, until their belief is disproven.
