The managers were forced to pick a 25 man squad therefore they should be allowed to pick any combination without penalty, I think what they are doing to Holloway is a disgrace. http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&so...sg=AFQjCNG1kcv2BBJ_ZklFczaJTLmSLmDoww&cad=rja
Totally agree. Holloway has been like a breath of fresh air in the EPL. Despite being one of the lower-rated teams, he always sets his teams out to compete, not to defend, even if against your Arsenals etc. His post-match interviews are top drawer too and he tells it how it is.
It's a disgrace they've been fined. If Blackpool are paying these players every week then it's up to them when to play them. Who are the FA to dictate whether a player is good enough or not?
Everyone will say how unfair it is for a few days, then forget about it then happily go back to watching football, funding the idiots that make these decisions.
I propose a new league called "Not the Premiership" where managers are allowed to swear in post match interviews. Mick, sort it out mate. (you might need a bigger server)
I've always had a problem with this rule, if you train hard all week ad then just because you are not deemed a 'star' player, you have to either take a pew on the bench or not even make the squad. All because some joker says these are the player you HAVE to play. How will that ever encourage youth intake. Holloways a legend, as said earlier, a breath of fresh air!
What I find ridiculous is the FA forced the clubs to name a 25 man squad even though the managers didn't want to go down that route then fine them if they pick a team from that 25 which the FA thinks is weak, you couldn't make it up.
