He is fantastic and has the hunger and desire that many 'star' footballers lack.

Only England goal I've cheered in a while. Watching the game in a Hungarian bar so I was the only one who cheered & yelled Vardy but then a random chorus of 'Vardy' started being chanted. Was most bizarre!

The goal was one of my happiest moments as a Leicester fan. Have so many 'big club' mates that patronise me about our season and about Vardy and to produce a finish like that and then create that chance for Ali by pressing the keeper, showing more effort and value to the team than lots of 'first name on the team sheet players' made me so happy.

Fed up hearing that Rooney still has to start cause he's Rooney, that Barkley isnt complete enough, that Wilshere should be straight in the squad having not played a game. All the spurs boys have earnt their place, vardy and drinkwater too. We have pace and skill in these young players that arent all playing for the big boys, but are constantly told that those 10 extra caps henderson has is so valuble or Wilshere got 3 MoM awards in a row for england so they have to come first, how about play the best man for the role.

What my team would be for the Euros

    Hart

    Clyne
    Stones
    Smalling
    Rose

    Drinkwater
    Dier

    Alli
    Kane
    Barkley

    Vardy

Kane playing slightly behind Vardy with the width coming from the full backs

    Hart

    Clyne
    Smalling
    Stones
    Rose

    Dier
    Henderson (just)
    Alli

    Sterling
    Kane
    Welbeck (just)

Though playing Alli deeper and bringing in Barkley is also tempting.

...Wellbeck might make the bench... can't think of any reason to include Henderson or Sterling at this level .. very average Joe and a guy with no end product more often than not..

Im abit pissed so forgive me lol

Whatever happens between now and the end of the season im proud to say im A Leicester fan and im proud that Jamie Vardy plays for us. After his start to football to be where he is now with a club who was deemed "relegation fodder" seeing the league table and Vardy's season and his goal past Manuel Neuer makes make me proud to say

Im Leicester til die, im Leicester til i die I know I am im sure i am im Leicester til I die

Never been a better time to support our club

I'm not liking Hodgson's comment on BBC today:

'The emergence of a crop of exciting young players, and the brand of football they produce, has led to suggestions Hodgson is altering his approach to the game.

The 68-year-old denies that is the case.

"No, not at all," said Hodgson. "Unfortunately - and I don't know when I got it - but at some stage I was told I'm conservative in some way and that will stay with me for the rest of my life".'

Let's hope he can see what's in front of his eyes now rather than some random individual performances from a time gone by.

Not bothered what the old fool does tbf ... if Rooney, Milner (and a couple of others) start then I'm already resigned for an inept struggle and will instead direct my interest to the other home nations and any teams containing LCFC players ... :)

Never fussed about England, not since 1990 tbh. (oh! the 90´s) Keeping an eye out for Vardy mind, but as for the rest of the `home nations` I don´t give a toss about them either.

I'd like to see us go with...

    Hart
    Clyne Smalling Cahill Rose
    Dier
    Drinkwater Barkley
    Alli
    Kane Vardy
Similar to Proud's team in that the fullbacks provide the width. Dier to sit back, Drinkwater and Barkley to bomb up and down the pitch and Alli, Kane and Vardy to create havoc.

Don't think Woy will ever consider Vardy a starter when it comes to the euros themselves, not even if he finishes at top goalscorer in the prem.

He'll pick a fat, injured, out of form scouser in the middle to slow everything down.

I also wouldn't due to our style of play - great impact sub though and Vardy deserves a lot of credit for putting himself in that position

    Forster
    Walker stones smalling rose
    Drinkwater Milner Barkley
    Walcott Sturridge Vardy

That's what I predict tonight. Shane about Vardy being out wise but with Roy confirming Sturridge starting it's the only way.

    Please don't get injured...
