By the time a big tournament comes along in June, players who have usually played a long and hard English season are shot,
I'm no expert on anything Watford but if Rooney is fit then I would think his pedigree earns him the right to be selected in the squad. I know I wouldn't start him but hey, what do I know.
As long as they aren't the sort who need half a dozen games, look a stone overweight most of the time and slow down the play, I agree.
Of course Rooney should be in the squad if he's fit in time. I'm dreading seeing Andy Carroll in it though Except the ones who aren't English. I bet Ozil, Giroud et al step up to the plate, as usual.
Highly unlikely. My strikers, in order: 1) Kane 2) Vardy 3) Sturridge 4) Welbeck 5) Defoe Of course, some can play in other positions.
I don't think there is any doubt Rooney will be in the squad and Hodgson can always play him as an attacking midfielder, he has a great range of passing that is often overlooked. That may prove to be his best option...
I think we are too one dimensional with Rooney in the side. We appear to rely on him too much. Last nights game shows that there are better options available.
Was looking for some highlights for my son and found this Italian commentary on the goals. Fcuk knows what they're saying but they definitely enjoyed it!
Thanks for that N22! On that feast of information it looks like there is a problem at Keeper and CB. So does this mean Clint, Hall and Smithies could have work to do this summer? Probably not, but hope we don't have to watch the return of J.Terry.
Have to say Forster didn't fill me with confidence, seemed very immobile, relying on his size rather than agility. Didn't even move for Gomez's goal, not that he could have saved it anyway.
I have bad news for you, the commentary is not in Italian. It is in Spanish. They said they Kane goal was a good goal. Vardy was the record holder on the Premier league for scoring consecutive games and he plays for the leaders Leicester. That's about it.
