The last time we beat the germans many of our players had engerland shirts on, with spurs tonight having 4 in the starting line up, my question is can spurs beat zee Germans like we did? i think engerland will suffer a humiliating defeat due to starting so many spurs players. 5-1 to zee germans
That game was pivotal in the rebuilding of the German national side. Not because of the score, but because the winning team included Emile Heskey.
So not only were Liverpool responsible for engerlands greatest ever triumph (bar 66) over their greatest ever rivals, AAANNNND we saved german national football? good thing you remembered that rdbd chap
Lovely goal from Vardy too. Superb flick. Great performance from England tonight and bodes well for the Euros
Doesn't matter which club is involved. When players pull on the England shirt they are playing for the country and everyone of them gets my support.
I said it would be free-scoring and it was. Sucky started this as a wum-thread, hoping that England would get trashed so he could rip the piss out of Spurs. But this wum fcuk-up has come back to haunt him, because Spurs actually beat the Germans. I think this performance sounds the death-knell for the likes of OXO and Walnut, as well as Rooney, Carrick, and other assorted dinosaurs. Long live Poch! Long live Spurs! Long live England's chances of finally winning something!
Just stop right there sunny jim, theres no way you are "piskie-ing" me you know rightly i do not need a thread to take the piss out of spurs. i would never do that anyway as you know im a big fan of poch and spurs. how do you know this thread wasnt the catalyst needed for the engerland comeback? you can thank me later when it less embarrassing for you ps, when did you sign Vardy?
Yes, I was speaking very much tongue-in-cheek when I wrote "Spurs beat the Germans." I was, if you like, fighting wum with wum. It was a creditable England performance, away from home, against the World champions. Those who played tonight should not only have booked their place on the plane to the Euros, but they should start, too.
