Chesh, I don't, it's hard to explain but we don't know for example if other teams have strengthened or weakened because of a change in financial reasons rather than anything we've done. So just changing the final position by the odd place or two in the lower half of the table doesn't represent anything other than, as chippy put it, stagnation. Who wants to do this for another ten years, and more importantly what signs are we seeing that this situation will change?

I'm confident of finishing higher myself, and going by Evans results think we would have been 8th-10th if he had been here all season.

Again I agree, but what have you seen this season that makes you think it will be different and we'll improve that much next year? (bearing in mind I so want you to be right in this).

Judging by Cellino's comments I'm not sure Evans will be here next season.

Changes his mind every game, but at least he only seems to talk a new manager every other week now days instead of doing it.I think he will still be here next season myself.

    I don't know, that's why I asked?
I would hazard a guess that it was more positive than what I said bearing in mind I was so ****ed off watching the ****e we had last season that I didn't renew the season tickets..... And not once have I regretted that decision bearing in mind that the league position is arctic ally identical but the footie we are playing is much more boring and the p,ayes of a worse quality..

I've seen some very good games under Evans and I think last season I would have been happy with an improvement in the finances and some improvement in the team and I believe we just about have both.

It's not rocket science I would have thought. Maybe promotion next year might be construed as going backwards if it happened

Evening Eire, relegation will be going backwards, promotion would be progression, anything in between will be the same old **** we've had for the past decade <ok>

That 30 odd million owed to the bastards gfh is going to prove to be a huge noose around our necks for seasons to come. Hard to believe how the club could have been steered into such a position. Bates wasn't kidding when he promised he'd see us ****ed. He must laugh himself to sleep every night

True. Need Cellino or someone to buy the whole club outright.

Yep. Problem is why would they sell? They have it all sewn up for next decade. Even if they did to someone, that'd be 30m that could've been used building a proper promotion challenging squad

Because that's just getting their loan back, I thought they wanted to make a profit, which they won't whilst we're stuck where we are. I agree though that someone will have to pay over the odds to buy out GFH or Cellino or both.
