Really surprised that SL turned to Perera here. Not the greatest bowler, a bit of pace to hit, at a time when it was clear we needed to go - and no need to bowl him, given the other options.

More of a lower order finisher, who can bowl the odd over if required.
 
That's an awful decision from the umpire. And against a seamer who has really impressed.
 
I'm not saying it was exactly a difficult decision to make, but still, fair play for promoting Buttler.

To a degree, yes. But I'd also say that if you're not going to bowl him until the 18th over, then Mathews and the selectors should probably have stuck with the much more experienced Kulasakera in their XI.
 
Come on England, 175. Get Dilshan early and we can defend that, even with an iffy bowling attack.
