having sensibly exited the shropshire senior cup and beaten the youth, reserves, groundsmen and chaplains of man utd and wolves we turn to some real opposition, kidder away. kidder will have a full side out anxious to beat the man utd of L2, so we must be on our guard. i do not wish to take any thing away from our wins over man utd and wolves, they were excellent and made good practice for grahams fast improving squad. floreat salopia and come on you shrews
I was planning on going but child care circumstances mean I am going to Tranmere on Friday. Shame as I quite like the kiddy games. Good luck to the team let's hope there's a goal fest spread throughout our team.
Line up for town is as follows: Neal Regan Sharps Goldson CansdellSherriff Ainsworth McAllister Leslie Wright Collins Gornell It appears that there is trialist at RB playing under the name of Regan! Possibly ex-Grimsby player Peter Bore, according to some posters on B&A; he can play in a few positions. There is also a CM trialist not on the list called Monte Santos from Sporting Lisbon, but i think this might be a wind up!! Anyhow town are 1 nil down due to a penalty
Not really their first goal was from a penalty and second was against run of play. Remember goldson and trialist were playing in defense.
i do not think we should be too concerned whilst uncle graham is trialling. tranny may also a be a real trial. p/s friendlies just allowing town to beat premier clubs of sorts. we must be able to allow uncle graham to experiment with the turners babes. i would be concerned if we lost at home against the pilgrims. between tranny and argyle there must be a couple of away day bonding sessions on fairbourne beach to finally toan up those muscles. make sure the directors go as they need the exercise. last one back from barmouth over the bridge buys the lucozade, er rowland! floria salopia, and let us not worry too much yet. 12 points in august will put it all in perspective. now the tranmere, floreat salopia!
At my first ever away game there was a crowd of 750-odd,first half was dire from both although Kiddy led through a penalty. We got slightly better after the break then out of the blue Ainsworth scored a good'un, in off the post.Eventually we cranked up the heat and when pushing for a winner, playing some good stuff along the way, they countered andscored with practically their 1st or 2nd meaningful attack of the half. For me Regan looked very ordinary, not a patch on Raven, and Goldson was great alongside Sharps considering his age.
Regan didn't play. It was Bore from Grimsby (See GT's interview on the web site) but considering they want a fee for him, he doesn't sound promising.
Experimental squad with trialists. No more, just remember that some of those players will be subs not starters
Does this bloke, Waddock, know what he is doing. He is not going to play any trialists pre-season as he is happy with his squad. Lo and behold, played 2 trialists against Wealdstone. Obviously a man of his word.
