Isn't the difference that Cisse hasn't been found guilty?

He's not saying you should have said anything before AJ was found guilty, he's saying you're playing judge and jury in the Cisse story in the absence of an actual judge and jury.

Not sure it is Tel. Jailbait and all that. (very appropriate under the circumstances). Should have chased her when he checked her age. More fool him. No excuses.

    Over... Until his appeal <laugh>

On a serious note, the lad was a very talented player who had the world at his feet and he ****ed it all up because he let his fame and fortune go to his head, he thought he was invincible. A huge shame really, that he never had his head screwed on.

Oh forgive me I thought you had replied to Rogers post and said 83 thought she looked young for her age.

That doesn't mean I wanted to know what she looked like. I was dealing with a set of conflicting reports, Rog cleared it up without your help.

As for Johnson. I have no issue at all with the fans backing him until he plead guilty. That was absolutely the right thing to do. Chanting his name may have been going too far, but he certainly deserved to be considered innocent until he plead guilty. I've never even insinuated that you should have turned on him.

As for Cisse, you have done exactly what RAW has been doing. You simply CANNOT state "Cisse did a worse offence in a different country". You are taking a newspaper article as fact. There is not one credible piece of evidence that Cisse has done anything wrong whatsoever. I am simply questioning the hypocrisy of RAW demanding I chuck Johnson under the bus, when he was the loudest defender of Johnson until the guilty plea.

One rule for one, another for the other.

Am I being daft here or is this really incredibly easy to understand? Back me up Tel, please <laugh>

Once again you are absolutely miles out.. What I said from start to finish about Johnson is that i will wait to hear all the evidence before passing moral judgement.
In Cisse's case it looks like he will never have to face trial, so I'm having to go by the media evidence from the mother of his child who stated she had to lie about the age she got pregnant, which she stated was 13, so that he could get a work permit to play football abroad..

Agree..he can be a stubborn opinionated twat at times, but that is something which I like as it stimulates argument on the board..

You mean the deliberate ploy for Steven Fletcher to withdraw his evidence to put it into the appeal? That is the only grounds I can think of he has and if it works out that way then for me it shows what a right couple of infested pricks, the fans were roaring for on match days..

Well maybe not in Fletcher's case but he can hope..

Says the man who posted about picking up babes who turned out to be wearing falsies, wigs and ugly as sin without a load of makeup the next morning.:emoticon-0106-cryin Easiest thing in the world to deceive another when the come on has not been rejected.<doh>

I am still not convinced the grooming bit was not a two way flirtation, but he was the so-called grown up and she turned into an innocent who was duped even though she hung around the training ground and had him in her sights.

If he was facing a trial, which he is not, I would be happy to listen to all the circumstances. However, he is not facing trial so I have to use the media evidence to combat the high and mighty moral high ground that one or two Mags on here are trying to take..
