This along with him telling Evans to keep quiet and concentrate on performances... Anyone believe Evans will still be here for the start of next season? Cook (who pulled on an Eng U19 shirt yesterday) is a £10m target for Stoke and Everton, a year left on his contract, agents in his ear, him believing he is worth more or Cellino believing he isn't (whichever way you want to look at it) anyone believe he will still be a Leeds player next season? On another note, we rested Cook and got thumped 4-1 yet he played the full 90min for the U19 Good Morning...
Good morning Ristac and all. Two ways of looking at the Cook thing, if hes as good as some think he is, he wont be with us next season. If hes still with us, then hes not likely as good as some believe. I touched on it yesterday but weve produced very few players over the last decade that have gone on to make it even mid table in the . PL. God be with the days of the Kewells, Woodgates, Smiths. If were destined to be a mid table team for some seasons to come, which I suspect we will be, the likes of Cook wont be hanging around anyway
Morning Eire, I don't understand why we allow players like Cook to reach a year left on their contract, I have a feeling he will make a great player and I agree, looking at another nothing type Season with Leeds he can afford to move on and develop at a top club. Delph springs to mind, left and didn't do much for a while but because he was young enough....
Morning ristac, thanks for getting the ball rolling. I do not think for a minute that cellino would have got rid of Evans on top of the season was over . Cellino wants to liked by the Leeds fans. Where Evans only have a contract for the next seven or eight weeks why would he get rid of him now? I would be surprised if Evans is still the manager come June 1st.

I'm not a huge fan of Evans or Cellino, but the players like I said before should take a good hard look at themselves and their performances over the season and man up instead of running to the owner. Morning Mighty.
Your late, go and stand in the corner I read Lorimer saying we missed a trick in getting Barton Not so much lost the dressing room, it is the fact players who are not picked knowing that they can run crying to Cellino and he obviously listens to them... Cellino should refuse to see them, tell them that Evans is their boss, there isn't any respect for the coaches with the mad set-up that we have.

Morning pal, I honestly believe Barton would have made a massive difference, I would have snapped him up and given him the captains arm band.
I absolutely hate Barton, but I agree with you that we should have got him. We also missed out on McGeady and Lafferty (I know some don't like him) but he didn't play too badly last night with Dallas for the Nordies last night..
Not so sure about Cook TBH,Did think at one time he was great,but if Dave and Bridcutt are any good then why when you add Duke and Cook do we seem to create so little.If the other 3 are good then maybe Cook ain't that good.Anyway don't think any of them are worth £10 million so I would take that.
