So not in a B&B then. Or even better, in the spare room of a local volunteer in order to learn about the human cost of the disease they're supposed to be tackling. No surprise there, although I'm sorry for your friend who wanted to honour her husband and help others.
Open letter to Peter Wanless CEO, NSPCC Over the last 6 years *****phile gangs have been grooming, drugging and raping thousands of vulnerable children in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxford, Lincoln and dozens of other towns and cities throughout the UK with impunity. Where were you when they needed you Mr Wanless? Where were you?
He was probably on an all expenses paid trip to San Tropez funded by the charity while little Tommy from Bradford was getting the **** kicked out of him by his alcoholic father & crack whore mother.
You said it Billy… If the CEO of the NSPCC was so concerned he wouldn't be taking 50p out of every pound donated for his greedy self. So back your mouth up…
Peter Wanless, CEO of the NSPCC, earns a staggering £162,000 per year – £40,000 more than his predecessor Andrew Flanagan. Last year he was pictured sipping champagne, and boasted on Facebook: "This was taken while I was 'working' on a visit to Jersey." The NSPCC was among the charities that asked Olive Cooke, 92, for money before she killed herself last month. Cooke, a poppy seller, was inundated with requests from charities she felt were "taking advantage" of her generosity. The mother-of-three was struggling with her finances after being diagnosed with cancer. A spokesman for the NSPCC said: "We have thousands of long-term supporters, who are committed to helping end child abuse, of which Olive Cooke was one." Other high earners include Amnesty International's Salil Shetty, who pockets a salary of up to £210,000, and Tom Wright of Age UK, who earns up to £190,000 a year.
Like many of the public in the 1970s she connected MacMillan to cancer charity and gave her time unselfishly to the cancer foundation. When MacMillan set up its own funding through charity donations she went all out for them.
He was posting a story about your club that was published in the media, I referenced it earlier with no response from anybody. There was no need to get tribal over it mate.
He should have at least 6 as judge said expect a substantial jail sentence - your probs right - money , Pownall and an inadequate Criminal Justice sentencing system makes a mockery of the courts and real justice - he was a role model with responsibilities - but .........
It's why I do not donate to 'Charities'- That way I can choose when it suits for me to 'give' so when it feels right -I rather work for free local fund raisers etc
