Turns out there was a loophole though, so when he went on air instead of covering it he just put the link live on air Ever since then they've been clamping down on all the bullshit that goes on behind the scenes.
Except, when we went through this on the other thread, we discovered that : 1. Johnson's (then anticipated) sentence, was longer than many sentences previously given for offences of the same nature, including those which were clearly more extensive offences (either in their number, the position of control of the guilty party, the ages of the victims, the extent of the sexual acts, or combinations thereof). 2. Johnson's (then anticipated) sentence, was longer than standard sentences, handed down as a matter of course, for offences including attempted murder, death by dangerous driving, and severe cases of gbh. 3. The only sentences anyone could find which went the other way, were two sentences for armed robbery (which were neither standard sentences, nor of a similar nature). 4. When one of the cases highlighted in point 3 above was reviewed more closely, we discovered that the perpetrator was also a convicted murderer, in a possibly related case. So your comment holds no water whatsoever.
