Cruyff was a genius when it came to football, both as a player and as a thinker.

Pretty **** to die at 68 when he was still sharp as a tack.

Aw the auld duffers always bang on about old players as if us youngsters (late 20s and under) haven't seen any good players before.

Yes - he was 'pish' !
He never went on to have any success - nor has the world of football changed - to be more skillful (outside of England ).
Whatever happened to him ? I think he went to some crappy team called Barcelona - and just look how rubbish they are - thanks to the 'total football' legacy of Cruyff. Barcelona just about avoid relegation each season - they can't pass the ball - EVER - and their forwards just don't know how to score.

Mr.Scan - I believe you're as jealous as any fan whose team didn't have Cruyff, Neymar, Suarez and that REALLY rubbish footballer - Messi.

I'm in my late 20's and confirm that Cruyff was a lej.

 

He's a legendary footballer, famed all over the world, I expect numerous tributes to him and for good reason because he was that good.

 

That's a bit rich coming from somebody as sad as you (and me), who is spending their time on an internet forum on a Thursday afternoon. I'm fairly sure that very few footballers are ******ed as to write about you and me.
