http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-35876621 Ash trees across Europe facing being wiped out in the same way as the elm was. Chestnuts are already under threat....I suspect you've all seen how shrivelled these beautiful trees are looking. Chestnuts are used to line wide avenues in this country....be a sad day when we don't have the treat of seeing them in bloom. I understand Brighton has put up an exclusion zone so they don't lose their trees. All of these trees are valuable for supporting wild life in this country as well as adding to the beauty of the countryside and it takes years to replace a wood or spinney if it dies. And a shame if the diversity in our woods become replaced by single species forest that you see in many countries.
Superhero films need to have a break, that's for sure. The amount of films in that genre that have been produced over the last 10 years is incredible, adoring fans will see every single one though no matter the reviews so a huge money-spinner.
Look on the bright side mate. An hour and a half not spent in Belgium is an hour and a half gained in anybody's book.
. Such is the changing face of British identity. I feel far more in common with Saddiq Khan, son of a London bus driver, and as far as I can tell someone who wears is religeous background very lightly, than I do with old Etonian billionaire's son Zac Goldsmith. Interesting to note though, that both are descended from immigrants who almost inevitably experienced distrust on the grounds of their religeon. And both probably have the interests of London's diverse community at heart. It's just that only one of them has a clue what life is like for ordinary working people.
Superman will always be Christopher Reeve to me anyhow. And I've yet to be convinced by any Batman movie, despite Heath Ledger and Tom Hardy's brilliant turns as The Joker and Bane respectivally.

I liked the Keaton ones. Thought Nicholson as the Joker & de-vito as the penguin and Pfifer ( sp) as cat woman were brilliant.
Michelle Pfeifer was a woman that a lot of women would like to look like as (apart from a lovely figure) she has a beautiful face that still has character. Believe it or not, it is possible to be too beautiful (as you can look like a doll). Sadly, so many silly young girls now want to look artificial.... and as for huge fat butts!!!!
