What would you class one of the biggest budgets in the league? For example, if I said we had the 10th biggest, would you say that was 1 of the biggest?
I would say top 5 probably. I'm not saying he did but just pointing out that by getting his budget slashed doesn't necessary mean that he was on a shoestring for the division
for your sake I hope your right.....otherwise you are going to see the biggest gas onslaught the country has ever seen.
I remember DC said at the start of the season, when he was asked about having the best budget to go straight back up, he corrected the interviewer saying his budget was slashed in half so dont have a high budget. He said there are several teams who would have a bigger budget than Rovers. He knows that league very well. My guess on who had bigger budgets last season were Eastleigh, FGR and Gateshead who must have a bigger budget than us as they all got a sugar daddy. Also im sure Grimsby had a bigger budget too. Im not sure on other teams though!
I would be gobsmacked if City went down. Out of all the teams in the bottom 7, they've got the cheque book out and brought in Golbourne, Tomlin, Odemwingie etc. Apart from Fulham, other clubs just can't match that kind of buy-our-way-out-of-the-**** power. We'll have to wait til 2017-18 to play them.
Yep they are pretty lucky that Bolton and Charlton are in a mess. Otherwise City would be in real trouble!
Talk about stating the obvious, teams in a mess get into trouble. Rovers are lucky they've got 21 teams on less points than them or they would be in real trouble
