Looking like the rains still due to blow over by the weekend.

According to the BBC, it will be dry and sunny this weekend. Last of the rain is on friday.

If you go to the BBC link, quoted in this article, scroll down to the map section and you will see that at the moment light rain will affect the area on Friday night only. The air temperature is predicted to be 24 as compared with 19 for the Germany race.

Usually the BBC 5 day forecast is reasonably accurate.

If the weather says it's going to be dry, i like to take an umbrella with me if i'm going somewhere. Don't trust weather reports one bit.

Bergkamp - yes you are correct. Germany was 14 air temp and Hungary should be 24. The track temp should be double that.

However, my excuse is that it was just a forecast. Ho Ho.

Looks like f1 will have reached status quo again after the rainy, variable weather.

Actually, hungary is looking similar to germany. You've gotten confused between degrees and fahrenheit.

Vettel's dominated in the rain so far this season. He left everyone behind in Montreal and Silverstone, it was only when they switched to slicks that he was vulnerable. If it's a fully wet race I'd go for Vettel first, Hamilton second. It's going to be dry though so the discussion is academic.

In Canada he had the luxury of not having huge gallons of spray in front of him and in Silverstone half the track was dry and half wet. I'm not doubting his ability because he is a great driver but it would be interesting to see him race in the wet from 2nd or 3rd. Anyway I see him winning this weekend. Pole and dominant win. :(

BBC(Judas) weather is showing a dry weekend but the temperatures are starting to drop, 22 for qualifying and 21 for the race. They're also suggesting a sprinkling of rain tonight and Saturday night.
