So you don't have a problem with stats apart from when they prove you to look like a daft ****. You are all over the place, are you lettuce?
You not the most smartest are you. Are you KPR in disguise, a very poor disguise. Liverpool fans rely on stats when it suits them. For example 18 title wins party time!!! Oops Man Utd have 19 titles!!! Bugger. Ignore that stat, lets start talking up the 5 European cups. Yea!!! Now that's a plan.
Doing what again? P.S. How long was it since we qualified for the EC when SAF joined the club? How about when Paisley started managing Liverpool?
Paisley vs SAF in Europe isn't a like-for-like comparison. It may be the same trophy, but it's not the same competition. It's now easier to get into but harder to win. CL since 98 (when non-champs were allowed entry): Real Madrid: 3 Barcelona: 3 Man Utd: 2 AC Milan: 2 Bayern Munich: 1 Porto: 1 Liverpool: 1 Inter Milan: 1 Like-for-like, SAFs record stands up. It's an open debate that will have no result, but I'd speculate that 12 league titles under SAF could have returned a bigger European Cup haul under the old champions-only entry rules.
Where are you going now, but its ok you don't have to make sense because you can do a dancing emoticon. Whoop-****-eee
My point exactly. It's a pointless debate that has no end and will make no progress. So why even bother starting?
Posting sensible stuff on the banter thread! But then you can't use the euro ban in any sort of "defence" for fergies record in europe.
Sorry. I'll try to post more random abuse in future! Maybe. But then we could have gotten into the UEFA Cup in 1988! And not forgetting that we were the first club to win a European trophy after the ban.
£35 million for Andy Carroll is not good business. Well paying £31 million for a 27 year old is not good business.Ferguson can't sell Berbatov now,as he will have to explain why he lost £24 million on the deal in 3 years.United will be lucky if they get £7 million for Berbatov as he's 30. Even if Andy Carroll has two bad seasons Liverpool will still get anything from £26 million upwards,as Darren Bent aged 28 went from Sunderland to Aston Villa for £24 million.
It is. Which means that you've spent too much time around them and have caught Liverpoolitis. Just like Suarez... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...arez-thinks-Liverpool-win-Premier-League.html
Swarbs there is a difference between saying ''can'' and ''will''. Rio Ferdinand,Alex Ferguson,Patrice Evra and Wayne Rooney have all been quoted as saying Man United will win the premiership.
Manchester Utd winning the Premier League is a much more realistic prospect than Liverpool winning the league.
There is only one thing that is definite. Howard Webb giving a dubious decision to Manchester United at Old Trafford...after all they are his employers.
I think a 22 year old that has 7 years left to peak can hold his value better than a 30 year old that can't run who is past his peak.Berbatov is being kind currently worth little more than £7 million thus Fergus if he sells him now will make a £24 million loss,if he doesn't he'll make more than a £24 million loss.Next year it will be £27.5 million loss.
