This. Reckon the sentence will be 4/5.

 

Just can't see it - hasn;t been found guilty of having sex with her so can't imagine it'd be more than a 3 or 4 year sentence (so 2 years max inside)

 

suppose it all depends on the judge, i don't know the ins and outs of how sentences are dished out but did read it could be up to 10 years for him

I reckon he'll get 5 years. He should be out after half, but because he's a total dickhead, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up doing the full lot.

Maybe the judge has given him these two weeks off to scrape together a few million quid to backhand the judge, in return for a lenient sentence.

I hope he gets no time in prison but he is sentenced to 11,350,000 lashes, which should take about 21 years at 1 lash per minute.

 

How does this work? Does the judge just give a summary and dish out the sentence or is there discussion involved?

iirc there was a tory toff recently given a suspended sentence for proper *****philia.

I would imagine that the sentence has already being decided and it will just be a case of the judge explaining the reasoning and dishing out the sentence..

 

I didn`t mean this particular case man. I was wondering about the procedure and whether Alphonso Poodle (or whatever the **** his name is) still has a say, or whether there`s no more representations.

Off topic..The film related to the title of this thread was very moving..

 

I thought it was predictable but there were a few interesting bits. I'm normally a sucker for anything holocaust related but didn't rate the film much more than average.

 

I thought it was an excellent film given from a different perspective to the norm, but I don't think I would watch it again though..
