Willian and then maybe Costa. Willian overall for the season though.

    Notable mention to Mikel ;)

Cant wait for the season to be over though frankly. Absolutely dire!

Willian for me. Mikel came on leaps and bounds under Guus. Again, end the season now.

Willian without a doubt. Can't quite make me mind up about Costa, one minute brilliant,
the next a total liability.Hope the next manager brings our on loaned players back and
takes a proper look at them.

It's still going to take quite a few changes for it to turn around next season. You now know that if Costa isn't happy Costa isn't playing do you pander to the twat of sell him? I'd sell.

Fabregas the same a right baby who wont put a shift in when you really need him to.

New manager and some cash to rebuild and you'll do well again though. How well is the big question are you 1 or 2 players away from being a top team or 7 or 8 players?

Our results post Mourinho are pretty good. I'd say our squad is stronger than Liverpool's at the moment. But to be fair KLopp has not had chance to make his own team.

A new manager should be able to reinspire most or some of the spine of our title winning side 2015:
Courtois Terry Matic Fabregas Hazard Costa.

Azpi Cahill Iva all worth keeping.

    Kenedy RLC Traore looking good

    Willian yes

We should look at cashing in on Oscar while Chinese market is high possibly Pedro too. So two players there.

Need a top CF to push Costa and top CB while letting Terry play a few games while Zouma recovers.

And a dynamic goals coring midfielder would be nice, but may be unattainable.

    4-5??

On paper that's a good bunch of players prior to this season, you'd expect them to regain form under a new manager, it's then a matter of a new manager building a squad other than trying to keep 11 top players on the pitch and ignoring all others. I think it's a key time for Chelsea, get it wrong and you'll find it hard to get back in the top 4.

The difference is though is that we won't be fighting to get back into an established top 4.

Do we really need to play catch up with Leicester for example? Chances are they will falter next year, Spurs and the hammers as well to a lesser extent. Just can't see them both having seasons as good as this.

Top 4 is a massive unknown for next year and if we rediscover any semblance of form, we'll be back amongst it.

The real worry is how far off the English clubs seem to be in Europe. 2005 - 2012 era seems a million miles away.

Next season is really strange, we can write off this one and presume it'll go back to normal but we don't really know that and if you want top 4 you may have to really up the game to get it.

Yes we do, no question. There are certain players that need to go and a few to come in. I just hope that we get pre season right this year. It's so important that we hit the ground running.

Clubs are more interested in money spinning tours than real preperation, this has to change.

Not 100% sure but even our patchy form under Guus would probably be enough to compete for top 4. That start under Jose ruined the season before it even really got going.

100% agree re the money spinning pre season tours. I was hoping we'd have learnt from last seasons disastrous pre season!

Willian under Jose and Fab under Guus.

We aren't as bad it looks IMO. We've had an absolutely dreadful season but both Manchester clubs are awful and have a lot of rebuilding to do so i don't even think we're that far behind and the fact that we haven't lost in so long shows that. Liverpool need to do a lot of business too so they get players who suit their new manager. Arsenal won't ever win another title whilst Wenger is there and Leicester are having very much of a freak season. That only leaves Spurs who i think will continue to get better.

So ourselves, United, City and Liverpool are all in the same boat. Need (or already have) new managers and a lot of new players. It just depends on how the new managers adapt and how many players they can attract who they want.

It's an important summer for a lot of the big sides and we aren't as far behind people think.

Our form is top Two since Hiddink took over, admittedly in the worst top 8 ever.

Next season Spurs Leicester will struggle playing CL and Prem.

United City and Liverpool will improve, possibly only United and City hugely (85-90 points plus).

Hopefully we will be playing part-time and doped up to the eyeballs by Juvedrugs. So top 4 will be ours plus a possible title challenge too against Pep and Jose.

Part time football means 80 points very achievable

As we are now we have a top four squad.... with the right manager and a couple of new players
    we will challenge next season.

I agree 2 players leaving will also help (JT & Mikel). No new additions needed tbh.

bring back the loan players Ake, MvG et al. Top 4 probable.
