Will Leicester bottle it and be pipped by either Spurs or Arsenal? Will SAFC manage to survive, or is this the season where it finally catches up with us? Imo. Leicester will do it. But only just, Spurs are gonna run them close all the way. Hard to say this without sounding negative. But i think we'll drop this season. Pushed our luck far to often. With the remaing fixtures and the inability to keep a clean sheet. Sadly this could well be it.
Agree that Leicester will win the league, really hope so anyway. Think the gooners are too far away now. Hard call to make, i think it might be both of the north east teams to go down, unless we can start keeping clean sheets obviously. Only saving grace is that the teams we play in the run will already be safe and hopefully be on their "holidays".
I think Leicester will hang on but it will be close. As for us, well this is the best team we have had for years, we are playing pretty well and have a proven goalscorer so we really should have enough to stay up - of course that means only one thing; we are nailed on to drop!!!
This season has taught me not to make predictions for anything other than the next round of matches. I can't see Spurs winning it right now though, if I have to predict, they have Liverpool (A) United (H) Stoke (A) in their next three and Chelsea (A) a couple of games after that. They're capable of winning them all of course, but they could also walk away from those four games with very little.
No they won't bottle it but i just get the feeling they will slip up a couple of times and i hope one of them is against us. They won't go till the end of the season without getting beat for sure.
Chelsea You'd get a few quid for betting now on Arsenal winning it though. Don't not what their odds are but I'm guessing about 5/1-ish, but I think I saw Leicester were 4/11 last week.
Appreciate we have to play them, The arse and Leicester are still fighting for the title but i think its too much for Arsenal but they will still be battling for the champions league. Chelsea might be fighting for the euro place as will Stoke. Our last 4 games are Chelsea, Stoke, Everton and Watford, might be the eternal optimist but i can see us potentially getting something from 3 of those games, excluding Chelsea. Hopefully Everton and Watford will be on the beach.
People would have thought you were potty if you had said neither Chelsea or City would finish in the top 4 at the start of the season. Yet may happen.
The world really is being turned on its head! My top 4, in order are Leicester Spurs Arsenal Man U (Then, W Ham and Man C!!)

No. I'll accept it now, I never want our fans to be happy with 4th. We are not Arsenal. FA Cup is a consolation prize, a day out for the fans but it's nothing like winning the league and that has to be our aim every year, as arrogant as it may sound.
Not arrogant, I guess its just what you've been used to for most of your supporting life. I'd assume Liverpool fans would have felt the same way for a few years before that. There was someone talking at the weekend, can't remember who, or what programme, who said he had serious concerns that Man U could be on a slippery slope downwards, like Liverpool did back 20 odd years ago, if they didn't sort out their management structure and first-team planning. That there are many players just not fit to wear the red top. Are you worried about that?
Not as worried as some people are, if you look at our performances against the top 10 teams this season, we're clear at the top of the league, we struggle against the so-called 'lesser' teams. That to me is easier to put right than not being able to beat teams at the top. We've got loads of promising youth coming through, and the cream of the crop at Old Trafford, Anthony Martial, who'll be the best player in this league very soon. That's what United are about for me, developing young players, I don't want any more Di Maria's. For the first time in years, I don't care about losing Rooney, Rashford is our future now and players like him. Fergie would have sold Rooney by now, as much as I like him, we have to cut the cord and move on. There's no way we're disappearing like them lot.
Totally agree with you on that. But the choice of new manager will be critical on the style of football and therefore the player you'll be trying to atttract. Interesting days ahead for the manc's!
Louis' got another year left yet, I can see him seeing out his contract if he gets top 4 for us. Pochettino for me, if I could pick anybody.
We're in danger of derailing this thread by talking about football and getting a bad reputation! That'll never do!
