Three I think not sure. It seems daft to me too, should just be under 21s I reckon.

 

It's they only way to get players returning from injury any proper game time, no reserve teams anymore, a downside of Academy football in my opinion.

Meanwhile our U-21's are being used in our first team, young Marcus Rashford putting the Emptyhad on it's knees on Sunday afternoon.

 

No monopoly of playing youngsters in Ist team - Watmore Pickford and some other good ones on loan - but the emerging youngsters are the future of football at all clubs - should be applauded -

 

Thats what we had with a reserve league where young stars could be blooded and thus stops the great need to loan out young prospects for more competitive football experience

 

Great effort by our youngens, but Man U still favourites to win the league..
