****ing hell!! Diabetes is a pain to live with but, fortunately, completely manageable and not something I ever use to gain sympathy. You hilly and your other half bri I have utmost respect and sympathy for. Living with diabetes is a breeze by comparison (except for the monthly injection into the eye!!)
My brain hem was caused by falling & hitting my head off the floor during a fit. Fortunately it happened in RVI reception.
She's had 4 siezures now. They're not regular by any means, seem to creep up on her when she can't cope emotionally.
Yeah, nowt showed, but they didn't think it would given the few seizures shes had and the small amount of time she was having the EEG.
No, nowt showed up on mine either. Not all seizures are due to epilepsy but if she's had four then imo she's got it. I'm on 1000mg of Leviteracetum & ir pretty much controls it I do still have the odd one like. Does she get any warning signs? I get REM & flashing lights. I know I'm in one then & have about two seconds before I pass out. I found it very interesting & informative to read the epilepsy forums & different peoples experiences.
