I've got an appointment with the surgeon in two weeks - will be pushing for the second replacement to be done asap as it feels like it's on the verge of collapse. The first replacement has been a total success - the best it's been since I had to give up rugby all those decades ago. I've probably got around 90% use of it now - a big improvement from the 10% it was pre-op.
Really pleased for your one knee and hope the second one is as successful. My friend out here had two replacement hips and it has improved her quality of life beyond belief. Shame really that she had to wait twenty years and come out here to get them done as those twenty years of constant pain could have been avoided.
I'm due to land back here about 20 minutes before kick-off, but jerzeypie will be going. My guess is that he'll go for the singing section, but I don't know for certain.
I wish i could come back for the semi or the final but money will only go so far .See you all next season
Morning all from a cloudy St Helier. Looking forward to this evening as I'm going to see Ed Byrne at the Jersey Opera House.
Morning all, bright and sunny day here, with the threat of heat this afternoon. My granddaughters may pop in sometime as they want to question us about the "old days" for some school project. They are hoping that their Dad will get home for Easter as the checks on the border between France and Belgium have taken so long he has given up trying some weekends. What used to be a seven hour drive for him has turned into a ten-twelve hour one, and when he doesn't make it they really miss him.
Morning all from a grey and chilly Bandit Country. Early start as I had to drop Little Miss W_Y at the airport as she is off to Barbados for a weeks work...watching and filming football in Barbados for a week, sounds like a tough job!
Miserable and wet up here Dave. But for some jiggery-pokery with postal ballots, today would have been Independence Day in Scotland - not the best of weather for it!
Morning all from an overcast and chilly West West London...a few more hours and then a nice long break!
