Get what? Under the GFA anyone born in Northern Ireland is entitled to be an Irish citizen, British subject or both.

You could, I have always had one, though I think the British Govt didn't recognise you as an Irish citizen.

Right - Cheers for that. I always get nervous about asking questions out of idle curiosity on here because so many people think you're trying to work an angle!

Tell me about it. I mention Britain in any context and I am a fully paid up member of the IRA. The forum is for a bit of banter but some take it too serious (BH)

Fair enough. I thought you were just playing the whole "I don't recognise the British Government etc" card <ok>
Do you know anybody who has both passports?

No. I know someone who got a British passport for their child as if the fathers name is not on the Birth Cert the Irish passport office make you get a letter from your solicitor confirming that you can take the child out of the country. solicitors ain't free.

if you know cancer [ i hope you dont ] at times specialists can and do give patients a matter of months to live and get it wrong...i know one or two patients that were given under a year to live and are still here 3 year later...Its a good job that specialists can be wrong for quite a few people that are still alive...only in the bombers case maybe its not a good thing ...there was i time when i was told a matter of months back in june 2008 yet now i am in remission for the second time and doing great....
