Mate I was dropping Intel into Baghdad when you were probably learning of mice and men at school. I am aware that terrorism started before Merkel invited them in, I never suggested that.

Of course they are safer here, so would people be who live in slums in India or people who die of starvation in Sudan, way, way more people than those who end up getting slaughtered by ISIS if you want to debate using death toll.

The more Islamic people that arrive in Europe the more Islamic Extremism will arrive in Europe, that's a fact you can hang your poncho on mate.

Of course that's true. But also, the more refugees we can manage to take in and afford to care for, the less innocent people will die.

You never did anything to be born into a well-off, European home. You never earned it. I never earned it. It's a lottery. A European life isn't more valuable than a Syrian one. And that is always the crux of the argument when it boils down to it, and a lot of people on here differ with me on that opinion and I accept that.

You have to understand mate...anyone I would let into the country, it would be on the premise that they want to adapt to our cultures. I wouldn't want little communities forming, I wouldn't want their practices being brought over here. For me, if you come to a country to live, it's because you agree with their way of life and want to live it too. Anyone failing to adhere to that would be on the next ship back.

I believe it would for genuine refugees. I'd at least like to give them the chance rather than leaving them to suffer and die. People have been migrating and settling here for centuries without issue.

    Never kept fish have you?

I worked in Germany in 1980 when they brought the Turks in as cheap labour. They kept them in hostels in the end in Cities like Dusseldorf, Duisburg, Monchengladbach, Dortmund and Koln as there was no way they wanted to integrate into any culture but their own..

How many genuine refugees do you think there are out of the 1.3 million that came into Europe last year, let alone this year so far?

I've seen it happen in Glasgow with the Somali's,
They virtually run organised crime up there now.

Given that half the middle East is a war zone that isn't a surprising number. How many do you think are terrorists given that there have been 3 terrorist attacks in Europe in the last year?
Fair enough, and I have no interest in people like that being allowed into the country. People looking for work and people who don't want their throats slit are different though. If you were a Syrian man would you want your daughter there or would you be doing everything you could to send her to Europe??

Aye, and that's a disgrace. Not what I'm advocating, though.

I wonder if North Korea was in Europe, would so many of them be so keen to run away from their country to live in that country.

Well going by world news reports they might have been safer in Syria instead of a migrant camp or hostel at their chosen venue. Seems like them places are a lot more hostile than a lot of places in Syria but then again, why not just stay in the first safe haven country if it's that bad on their turf?
