Arsène Wenger has revealed more details on the injury that forced Theo Walcott to make an early exit from Arsenalâs Training Camp near Bonn. The striker sat out the session on Monday afternoon and was on a plane back home the following day. The manager did not suggest it was a serious problem but the injury clearly requires attention before the start of the campaign. âTheo went home early and was due to have an MRI on Tuesday,â said Wenger. âIt is an ankle injury that comes and goes. âWe need some more investigation because sometimes heâs completely free of it and sometimes it affects him. But we had to send him back because he couldnât practice anymore.â Post Comment Further More Conner Henderson is also out of action for up to 6month. Oh dear and now it beggins
well for conner not that much of a blow as he would only be a back up. Walcot im not sure how much we'd miss him. I do value him alot in the current squad.
I think this is more of a precautionary measure to ensure that he doesn't suffer a full blown injury to his ankle. But seeing as Walcott has had ankle injuries before and missed games for us, it does beg the question, why hasn't he had an MRI before.
tight budgets!? with Henderson out for half the season, and Theo possibly showing signs of an injury already, hopefully this will force Wenger's hand. If Cesc is going, I really think there needs to be some transfer action. I'm a staunch Wenger supporter, but this close season is really testing my patience. It seems to be taking an age to get anything done.
Too right, more the reason for AW to buy adequately during this transfer window lest we are caught short again. We have been beset by injuries before which has cost us points and chances so perhaps this time one hopes Arsene will learn from history. This shouldn't be too much to ask.
We need to stop buying these budget tights and get the lad something that offers more substantive support then!!!
