I'm sure many of you will have done this already, but in case you haven't got around to it you can e-mail the club and let them know how you feel. I initially e-mailed Ann Holland, the Supporter's Liaison Officer but I got an automated response asking me to send my e-mail about the membership scheme to [email protected] All the families currently in Zone 2 of the South Stand will have to pay more next season for their passes. Many families will not be able to afford to come next season at these prices. They are the future of our club and we need to do all we can to keep them within the Tiger Nation. I can't guarantee the club will listen, but we can at least let them know how we feel.
I've limited access at the minute, but will pen something ASAP. Having been through it, I know how frustrating it can be. I think a thread like this at least gives people the chance to see that they're not alone. Who knows, maybe it will lead to a workable solution.
Sent. Pointing out how much my 1 adult and 2 junior passes has gone up in N4 There is no way on earth the club are getting over £300 more off me Yes i could afford it.....but not everyone can. Crazy idea..
I'm in w10 my 2 adults & 2 youth passes are gonna be touching 2k!!! If we all load this thread with our grievances without it being abusive! Then maybe we could forward this link to them? Just a thought!
If the club do read this board, it would most likely count the opinon as a generic 'not606' ie one view. It's harder for them to play down lots of individual messages and you can be more certain your voice is being heard.
I would have thought we'd be better received as a larger body of supporters? Rather than MR ANGRY from wherever? But hopefully we're gonna hear some good news?
It would, but this board isn't a collective, and from experience, while some from the club may read it, it's not the same as saying the club read the board, or are fully aware of what's posted. Rather than wait for a group to be sorted, I think individuals can act, rather than risk missing the boat as happened previously.
Sent mine in hope more follow and it helps, I cant understand how some blocks at the end are half price to the middle but more importantly I've said I am not paying £498 for my daughter.
One of my friends has been a season ticket holder since the single piece of card days in the South Stand at Boothferry (like me until last season). He is the most die hard stalwart imagineable, I'm talking about full members cup games away midweek etc, done Torquay, Exeter, Carlisle, the lot. But he has two kids now and sits in the East Stand middle. His increase for the kids is simply unaffordable, and they are considering not renewing next season. If this idiotic scheme is turning this fan away, believe me the club are in problems.
