"I think it's been more and more apparent of late both on the training field and certainly in his recent appearances that we have players who have a greater desire to be here. It's as simple as that," Pearson told the Mail. quite simply that quote says it all. I vindicate my opinions on him, he is a twat.
Bullard has been a great player in the past, and on a few occasions for us also, but NP's statement settles it for me. Bye Jimmy.
Do you know. I had my doubts about Nigel, but now I am convinced that he is the real deal. If a player does not desire to put on the black&amber and give 100%, then he is surplus to requirement and he can pi$$ off. Nice one Nige, keep up the good work.
Bullard is a lazy get. Reckon he will last 1 crunching tackle andhe'll probably end up fronting Soccer AM in a couple of years, showing clips of himself on a loop.
Bullard gave us some great moments and but I'd say most people can understand that, given the situation, we're likely in a better place without him. If he's been slacking around in training as our highest earner by far that's got to hurt team harmony. With him gone the rest can focus on the job that needs doing. He's not been a complete waste as he's contributed a fair bit in patches when he did play - and that late winner at Sheff Utd could be vital by the end of the season - but definitely not value for money all considered. I'm sure he'll have some great games/goals for Ipswich but it's better for him to move on.
We have all known for some time that bullard needed to go, it's a shame we couldn't have secured an outright sale rather than a loan agreement knowing of the Crock situation. See you later p***takearator... in a while Crockapile.
The worst value for money of any signing we've ever had. Hope he's not back in a week with another crocked knee.
There's an old saying about boats that seems apt here. The best day of your supporting life is the day your club buys Bullard. The second best day is the day they sell Bullard.
Jimmy should open breadcake shop "yesterdays rolls at tomorrow prices.............TODAY" old, stale and overpriced
Do we all agree that Bullard is lazy, arrogant and a trouble maker? Has no real passion for playing the game and his proneness to injury is way too high to warrant a 45k a week deal. However when he does play, he's by far one of the best players in this league.
Yep, that just about sums him up, with the caveat that age is catching up with him, he's past his peak and sliding quite rapidly down the other side. A shame that he'll slide a fair bit further over the next couple of years whilst he's still on the payroll.
Its a quirky fact that so many of the best players of all time were a couple of cans short of a six-pack.....Best, Marsh, Gazza, Maradona - to name just four - all had their moments. Whilst Bullard is not in their class he comes across as a player who could have reached the very top, but didn't have the mentality to handle it. Shame really.
Jimmy Bullard is ten times the player Harper will ever be, NP has ****ed up, He'd rather play James the snail because he brought him here.
Jimmy Bullard probably is the best player in the league but I am still glad he has gone, he is not a team player.
"I vindicate my opinions on him, he is a twat" I think you speak for everyone when you say that Bev Tiger. Apart from Dean.
