Evening all, Pleased for Haigh, as I think he's been unfairly treated. I do balance this by remembering that it was allegedly because of him that the police got called in to ER to investigate hidden cameras, so perhaps not the Mr Innocent he'd like us to think he is. I believe the reasoning given was suspected drug taking on the premises, but FFS, a gay man putting hidden cameras in the lavvies! I'd still like to see GFH get punished for all they've done to Haigh and all they've done to us. Hopefully Haigh back on home ground might be able to release material that does them serious damage now. Fingers crossed.
Sorry to hear that, Eire. Especially for someone so young. But d'you know what? I bet if your friend could choose which way to go, that would be high up on his list. Reminds me of an old guy in his late 80s who used to go to the same gym as me (yup, a few years ago!). I hadn't seen him for a while & found out that he'd died. His best mate, of a similar vintage, said he would have been happy with the way his life ended. You see, he had a fatal heart attack whilst pulling his glider out for a flight. At 88!
For what? He was relieved of his position by Cellino, as I recall, which is par for the course in a takeover. Apart from that, what could he possibly sue for?
I can only deduce from this article that Evans has already decided on his '60%' retention list, as players on the periphery don't appear to be getting a chance to prove themselves this season. Personally, I'd rather we took a few defeats and gave the fringe players a chance to shine. Doesn't look like it's going to happen though - although I'm sure he said a few weeks ago that it would! http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2016/03/2...t-experimenting-with-leeds-uniteds-line-ups/?
And nor will it be.... The French now have an agreement to have a referendum should any county want to join. No way will France vote to let Turkey in. And increasing membership requires everyone to agree. None of this qualified majority voting bollocks that used to go on.
Condolences Eire. As you say puts life into perspective. Things like this do remind me that sometimes I whinge about trivial rubbish.
Suspect he'll favour the gay fleshpots of London for a while ..... then again, perhaps he might need a rest!
