For the first time in years I elected to watch MotD to see how Newcastle look as I haven't been able to see them on BairdVision for ages. Well, I have to say I have never seen such a disconnected lot. After watching the Spurs highlights where players were running into space for each other, knowing where each other are and are going to be it made for a hell of a contrast with the Newcastle play. If anything happens it's only because one player has a patch of relative brilliance and manages to connect to another player who is having a co-incidental moment of relative brilliance. I use the word 'relative' most strongly here. I know it was the highlights and that the BBC edit them to suit themselves but, my oh my, what I saw looked terrible. I can't see this lot staying up at all; there was no pattern, thought or anything constructive in the way that Newcastle played yesterday. And if this was anything like typical of how Newcastle have been playing this season then I am surprised that they are not further down the table. I think that I will restrict myself to radio feeds and on-line live match reports as they happen. It's less painful.
From now until the end of the season the competition between Sunderland and Newcastle is going to resemble snakes and ladders, hang on to your hats and enjoy the ride because there is not a thing you can do about it
We are ****, they are ****, and Norwich are ****. **** knows what will happen. If we both go down then we might be slightly better off. I assume that most of the players signing for NUFC didnt bother to put a relegation clause in their contract cos they thought it would never happen. But I assume most of the players signing for Sunderland would do this. Saying that, I am not sure I want any of these ****ers to ever play for us ever again. So possibly SAFC may have the upper hand next year. Either way, we are both ****ed i think. Past caring TBH. Just waiting for Norwich to play us off the park in a few weeks to confirm the inevitable. **** ASHLEY and his FAT PENFOLD. I feel sorry for Rafa. He could have been an amazing manager for us in an alternate universe!!
So you admit to being a moron then? ****ing thicky plakka Mackem clearly didn't watch the second half.
