Bruce's record of signing strikers is awful so I'd forget him getting anyone remotely decent in on loan. We already have a decent striker who can score with his head & feet in Hernandez. Bruce could try 3 different pairings in a 3-5-2 or 4-4-2 to solve our scoring problem. Hernandez/Akpom, Hernandez/Diomande or Hernandez/Powell. Try all 3 of those in training to see which one works & then stick with it for the remaining 9 games. What I can't forgive Bruce for is his reluctance to try anything different & to keep on pissing around with 4-4-1-1 hoping the outcome will be different.. He needs to pull his finger out & start earning his salary ASAP.
I was thinking more as a striking coach. Shame we can't do what we did with Boyd and loan Bradshaw from Walsall with a view to a permanent in the Summer, he looks like the next Fryatt.
There's some free agents available, recently released (literally) Marlon King and Ched Evans. They say never go back, certainly the case with ex-Tigers Rowan Vine and Craig ***an.
No. And as he's from Cumbria, I highly doubt he hates the North. The rumour could be bollocks, or he could have a missus who's close to her family darn sarf. Could be anything.
It might be bollocks, but it's what was reported (I can't find the Sheffield paper I read it in yesterday, but it's repeated on here)... http://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/foot...st-in-cherries-striker-glenn-murray-1-7799965
I think it's probably just careless wording by the reporter and he's not keen on a move at all. His missus certainly seems excited about the new house they're having built (presumably near Bournemouth).
