Somebody wanted some info on me - here goes thought i'd be open, 58 whole family 8 of us ,father grandad etc city fans ,first match 5 years old me mum said thought I was on my way to Gateshead but match called off due to snow very early 60's , not sure really because have never checked the date they left league, been to palace in a converted bread van , had some great 70's 'fun ' at Cov twice , Stoke and numerous other places no apologies for the trouble that happened, mainly on the fringes but it got the heart pounding it was just how it was when you lived on a council estate then, know all the City Psycho names and most faces, Could tell some stories not in Tordoffs book been to about 70 grounds.Never ever been to a rugby match dont want to , was there when Hull fans were supporting, was it Southend/ Orient / ? in The East Stand and will never ever forgive them. Played amateur football for 22 years . Like to give lots of vocal support and get other round me doing so but its hard!! By the way if Brucie says some players tired why when we have the biggest squad with the most 'quality' across the board are we tired , if our rotation had been right maybe this would not be an,issue , why are the other teams not struggling with this .?
You don't have to be a sports scientist to see that Abel has been playing like he was born in an iron lung and had a relapse. How come he's going on international duty - don't Argentina have Sports Scientists?
Tiredness is a bullshit, cop out, easy, lazy excuse that gets used when managers run out of ideas. These are young men FFS. maybe we should get Eddie Izzard on loan then coz he seems to be able to keep going.
As Bruce always says, they'd be able to keep going but the performance wouldn't be as good. I doubt Izzard's 27th marathon was done in as good a time as the first few.
