I just don't get sentimental. I love both Davis and Fonte. But can see them moving on for various reasons. If they left I would thank them and move on, if they stayed then I wouldn't complain.
That's what I thought. Probably wanted the game to continue for 5 more minutes, so he could score again.
I think that may be a bit harsh on Davis, perhaps Cedric will improve with a season under his belt and Tadic well he is good when he's good, but shire when he's ****e (manager has to be a I,'m no good with the pictures I was kind of being a little jokey sarkey, highlighting the two you would keep
Yep I'm not slagging him off. What I am saying is we can upgrade him. Would he want to spend a lot of time on the bench when he is nearing the end of his career? Who knows. If he doesn't do the decent thing and allow him to get first team footy (we have done it with players before). If he is happy then keep him.
Mostly agree Yoshida - check Gardos - would give him next season Fonte - feel demotion to 3rd choice is fair Martina - check Cedric - there has been some decent displays, think he can improve Tadic - agreed, he's a bit too Gaston and it's tough in this league to carry players Davis - was pretty woeful in possession today. Like Fonte I agree that he would still be a good squad player Juanmi - check, he's not settled
It is a difficult one, when all players are fit, you are right I see little time for him. But then add in Europa, a cup run or two (fingers crossed), loss of form a few injuries and I think there is a place for him. He will not get a better club, so I can see him being happy on play one, miss one kind of set up
Nice to see Katharina there....was trying to imagine what it feels like to own a football club....damn good on a day like today. I notice that she was drinking coffee from a cardboard cup...if I had her money it would be on a silver salver.
St Mary's coffee is pretty resistant. After a nuclear war, our coffee and burgers will be all the cockroaches will have to eat.
It was nice to meet FLT Sr. and see FLT Jr.again, it was also good to meet Vin and his mate yesterday. It was also nice to see Dave again,.......if anymore from here end up turning up we will take over the pub
Agreed pretty much on all fronts... I think with Manè and Wanyama, it depends which one turns up. Wanyama was imperious yesterday, apart from one tackle towards the end when it was getting a bit ragged, he was measured and controlled and exerted a big influence in the game. Manè looked like the player of old or more in that direction. Pace, skill and deception with a half decent shot on him. For me, the real frustration was Pellè. He constantly berated those around him, but seems hell bent on causing disharmony. Not tracking back, those God awful flicks and misplaced passes were killing me....! There was even a seagull that our part of Chapel spotted circling the stadium...his movement was better and his sense of direction was outstanding!! He just needed to pull on a Saints shirt at half time....!! Then Graziano took 4 bloody good touches and did that....!! Eternal frustration... Watching ronko run was great, as was the time wasting from Liverpool catching up with them. Last thing is that I hate having a pop at officials, but the ref was awful. So weak and soon inconsistent.
